Job summary

Child & Family Focus, Inc. is seeking a Youth Peer Support to assist parents/caregivers of youths in Montgomery County’s Intensive Care Coordination Program.

The role emphasizes trauma-informed, lived-experience-based guidance and collaboration with the ICC team to develop family service plans. The Youth Peer Support will work both in-office and remotely, engaging families face-to-face or via telehealth to help youth access community supports and reach identified goals, while modeling resilience

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
Experience handling complex emotional and behavioral needs.
Experience navigating child-serving systems (mental health, child welfare, probation, education).
Life experience addressing youth challenges.

Responsibilities

Provide support and guidance to youth and families within the ICC program.
Help youth build a team of natural, community, and system supports.
