Job summary

Child & Family Focus, Inc. in Pennsylvania seeks a Youth Peer Support to assist parents/caregivers of youths in the Montgomery County Intensive Care Coordination Program. The role uses lived experience to provide trauma-informed, person-centered support to help families meet goals on their Family Service Plan.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience handling complex emotional and behavioral needs.
• Life experience providing understanding of youth with complex needs.
• Experience navigating child-serving systems (mental health, child welfare, probation, education).

Responsibilities

• Support and guide youth throughout the ICC process and meetings.
• Assist youth in building their team of natural and community supports.
• Use lived experience to model system navigation and self-advocacy.
