Job summary

Child and Family Focus, Inc is seeking a Parent Peer Specialist to support parents and caregivers of youth in Montgomery County ICC. You will work in home or community settings, providing guidance, goal planning, and skill-building to advance the Family Service Plan.

The role relies on lived experience, trauma-informed, person-centered care. You will maintain an up-to-date EHR, participate in supervision, and collaborate with cross-agency teams in a hybrid work environment with mileage

Qualifications

• Experience as a parent/caregiver in the child serving system.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• At least 12 months of paid or voluntary work in the last 3 years.
• Completed PPS training from a certified program.
• Valid PA driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide Parent Peer Support to assigned parents/caregivers within the ICC.
• Encourage resiliency through mentorship and empowerment.
• Facilitate completion of the OCY Family Service Plan.
• Identify needs and strengths to set goals across domains.
• Help access community and natural supports.
