Job summary

Child & Family Focus, Inc. seeks a dedicated Parent Peer Specialist to support parents and caregivers of youth in the Montgomery County ICC program.

You will provide in-home or community-based coaching, helping families develop and implement a Family Service Plan with trauma-informed, person-centered approaches. Using your lived experience as a caregiver, you will assess needs, connect to community resources, and document progress in the agency EHR.

Qualifications

• Experience as a parent/caregiver within the child serving system.
• Completed PPS training from certified program.
• Valid PA driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide Parent Peer Support to assigned parents/caregivers within the ICC in home or community settings.
• Encourage resiliency through mentorship and empowerment.
• Utilize lived experience to assist in completing the OCY Family Service Plan.
• Identify needs and strengths to establish plan goals across domains.
• Meet clients in the community where services are delivered.
• Carry a caseload up to 20 families.
• Document progress in the agency EHR.
• Attend required trainings to maintain PPS certification.
