Job summary

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Indiana is seeking an Enrollment and Matching Specialist to engage youth, guardians, and volunteers and initiate enrollment while delivering high-level customer service.

The role assesses eligibility, suitability, and match readiness, coordinating training and support for new matches, and collaborating with external partners to increase youth referrals and resources.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Human Services, Social Services, or related field.
• Fluent in Spanish preferred (oral/written).
• Must be able to work proficiently with computers and office equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assess eligibility and suitability of applicants through interviews and screening.
• Evaluate applicants’ ability to build safe, healthy mentoring relationships.
• Ensure client-centered approach from inquiry to match support.
• Make matches likely to lead to strong, enduring relationships.
• Communicate training and support needs to Mentoring Relationship Specialists.
