Job summary

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Los Angeles is seeking a Community-Based Enrollment & Matching Specialist to support Littles, Bigs, and families through enrollment, interviewing, assessments, and matching. The role involves Live Scan fingerprinting, data entry in Salesforce, and coordinating sessions with mentors and mentees.

The position is full-time and hybrid, requiring occasional travel for events, trainings, and meetings with mentees and families.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Human Services, Psychology, Child Development, Education, or a related field required.
• Minimum of one year experience with children, families, volunteers, or community members in assessment, case management, counseling, education, mentoring, or related environment preferred.
• Fingerprint-based background check and all pre-employment screening requirements.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain positive relationships with volunteers, youth, and families through regular interactions.
• Assess and refer youth and families to community resources as appropriate.
• Enter and maintain accurate participant information in Salesforce and other systems.
• Meet monthly goals for volunteer enrollment, interviews, and matches.
