Job summary

Child & Family Service (CFS) in Ewa Beach, Hawaii seeks a Youth Mentor for the Positive Pathways program (8 hours/week). Under supervision of the Program Supervisor, the mentor supports the Case Manager in delivering services to youth at risk of substance use or other life challenges.

The role emphasizes guidance, positive role modeling, resilience-building, and helping youth set academic and recovery goals through consistent engagement and safe, supportive relationships.

Qualifications

• Education up to and including high school is acceptable.
• Ability to read, write, and follow instructions with basic data entry skills.
• Commitment to working with at-risk youth and families in the Hawaii community.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance, encouragement, and positive role modeling to youth.
• Deliver services in community settings, school visits, and office sessions.
• Maintain consistent engagement and build resilience and social-emotional skills.
