Job summary

ExpertCare is seeking reliable Youth Mentors to provide 1:1 support in the homes of recipients in Southeast Michigan. You will assist with skill-building activities, encourage personal growth, and help bring individuals into the community to expand goals beyond the home.

Applicants should be compassionate, have strong communication skills, and be able to follow care plans. Part- or full-time positions are available, with flexible scheduling and a focus on making a difference.

Qualifications

• Compassionate, patient, and dependable
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and follow care plans
• Comfortable supporting individuals with varying abilities
• Reliable transportation to and from assignments
• Ability to pass required background checks and screenings
• Must be 18 years or older

Responsibilities

• Work 1:1 with youth in recipients' homes, supporting, encouraging and helping with skill-building activities
• Bring recipients into the community to help grow and strengthen personal goals outside of their home environment
• Support caregivers and follow individual care plans as directed
