Job summary

Impact Kids in California seeks a highly motivated, energetic black belt martial arts instructor to lead programs for ages 4 to 18. You will teach techniques, provide feedback, and ensure safe training, while upholding curriculum and company values.

Candidates should have 2+ years working with children, a black belt or equivalent, and CPR/First Aid certification is preferred. Fingerprint Live Scan and background clearance are required after a conditional offer, with ongoing safety at all sites.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience working with children; martial arts teaching experience (1–5 years)
• Black belt or equivalent rank in karate or a compatible martial art
• Teaching certification preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Provide daily martial arts instruction to students aged 4–18 across ability levels
• Demonstrate techniques and provide feedback on progress
• supervise groups focusing on behavior, health and safety, security, and personal development
• Ensure safety; enforce rules and safe training habits
• Organize daily lesson plans in a fun, creative manner
• Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment and engage with students and families
• Collaborate with fellow instructors and follow the Impact Kids Code of Conduct
• Exhibit Impact Kids Core Values and company policies
• Have fun and model positive behavior
