Job summary

Pressley Ridge is seeking a YVLifeSet Specialist to support Transition Age/Young Adult clients in Pittsburgh. The role focuses on developing housing, education, employment, independent living skills, and supports to keep youths safe and out of legal trouble.

Responsibilities include gathering psychosocial histories, providing clinical direction, crisis support, progress monitoring, and collaborating with families and community partners. A flexible schedule and continued supervision are expected.

Qualifications

• Education/Credentials/Licensure: bachelor's degree in the human services field; master's degree preferred.
• Experience: at least 1 year of supervised related experience in counseling and/or case management; 2 years preferred.
• Clearances required: State Police, FBI, Child Abuse Clearances, Mandated Reporter-Recognizing and Reporting Child Abuse training certificate and/or statement.

Responsibilities

• Gathers and understands current and past psychosocial histories and provides clinical direction tailored to the young adult.
• Delivers services per the service plan and ensures compliance with standards and licensing requirements.
• Maintains and monitors a caseload, documents progress, and communicates with supervision and stakeholders.
• Plans and leads treatment team meetings to develop and review service plans and goals.
• Writes measurable goals and crisis plans for each young adult and documents all activities professionally.

Education

Bachelor's degree in human services field

Master's degree in Human Services or related field (preferred)
