Job summary

Volunteers of America Colorado seeks a dedicated Case Manager to support youth experiencing homelessness in the Bannock Youth and Family Center area. You will conduct needs-based assessments, provide housing navigation, and coordinate with service providers to secure housing and benefits for participants.

Must have Motivational Interviewing and crisis intervention skills, plus a year of direct case management. A Colorado driver’s license is required and access to a personal vehicle may be needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human services, social work, or related field.
• At least one year of direct, full-time case management experience with youth experiencing homelessness.
• Crisis intervention skills and knowledge of housing resources.
• Colorado driver's license and state-mandated automobile insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide intensive case management; ensure participant engagement in services.
• Conduct needs-based assessments and community outreach.
• Assist with housing navigation and retention; connect to income resources and benefits.
• Document client interactions and eligibility data per grant guidelines.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and attend related meetings and trainings.
