Job summary

The Healthy Lifestyles Coordinator at Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Denver will deliver impactful youth programs across 4-5 clubs and support outdoor education at Gates Camp during the summer. Reporting to the Healthy Lifestyles Manager, you will plan, coordinate, and facilitate high-yield programs for members aged 5-18.

Responsibilities include nutrition education, physical activity, grant budgeting, data tracking, and ensuring funding compliance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• At least one year of youth development experience, preferably in health or outdoor education, with a track record of planning and implementing youth lesson plans.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate knowledge of, respect for, and engagement with the communities served by Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Denver.
• Facilitate programming across multiple Clubs, focusing on nutrition, health, and outdoor education.
• Oversee and manage multiple grant budgets across various sites, ensuring proper allocation and compliance.
• Support and maintain strong relationships with Club staff, members, and families to foster a positive program environment.
• Assist with program administration, including data tracking, reporting, and compliance with funding requirements.
• Lead programming facilitation, including in-Club activities, field trips, and outdoor education initiatives.
• Drive the Club bus as needed for field trips and programming transportation.
