Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Denver is seeking a Youth Development Specialist to plan, supervise, and implement a range of youth programs. You will engage youth in athletics, cultural arts, STEM and education, building positive relationships and guiding them toward personal growth.

The role emphasizes mentoring, teamwork, and clear communication with staff, Club members, and families, with a focus on inclusive youth development and safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent.
• One year experience directly serving youth.
• Must pass criminal and driving records investigations, and reference checks.
• A valid drivers license and ability to be insured under the companys insurance policy (at least 21 years of age and 3 years with no major violations).

Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise and implement high-yield activities and programs in athletics, cultural arts, STEM and education.
• Build positive and supportive relationships with youth and families.
• Collaborate with staff to deliver mission-driven youth development services.
