Job summary

Yellowstone Boys and Girls Ranch, Inc. is seeking a Family Support Specialist to help youth and families thrive across home, school, and community settings. You will develop individualized plans and deliver therapeutic support in collaboration with treatment teams, educators, and families.

You will document care in the EMR, participate in PQI initiatives, and maintain professional conduct with stakeholders. A commitment to the agency’s values and ongoing professional development is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a human services field or 6 years of related experience.
• Fingerprint background check and state child abuse registry clearance.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Develop Individualized Plans: Create and implement evidence-based intervention strategies tailored to the unique needs of each youth.
• Direct Youth Support: Provide consistent, therapeutic support in school, home, and community environments in compliance with agency standards.
• Collaboration: Partner with treatment teams, supervisors, educators, community stakeholders, and families to ensure comprehensive care and support for youth.
• Documentation: Accurately complete all required documentation in the EMR system in compliance with agency standards.
• Organizational Contribution: Support YBGR’s mission and strategic goals by participating in PQI initiatives and organizational objectives.
• Professional Representation: Maintain professional conduct and represent YBGR positively to internal and external stakeholders.
• Ongoing Development: Participate in regular supervision, professional development, and required training.
• Other Duties: Perform additional responsibilities as assigned to support agency operations and client needs.
