Job summary

YMCA of Metropolitan Los Angeles is seeking a Teens, Youth & Family Director in Los Angeles to lead teen, youth and family programs, manage staff and volunteers, and advance community partnerships. This role drives program quality, enrollment, revenue, and safety across sites, reporting to branch leadership within a dynamic community-focused team.

Qualifications

• 21 years or older, meeting age requirement.
• High School Diploma or GED is required; bachelor's degree preferred.
• Three+ years in youth development, teen, family programming, recreation, or community programs.
• Two+ years of supervisory experience; budget experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily operations and growth of Teen, Youth, and Family programs.
• Recruit, hire, onboard, supervise, coach, and evaluate staff and volunteers.
• Develop and manage annual operating budgets; monitor financial performance.
• Develop annual marketing/outreach plans and build community partnerships.
• Ensure safety, compliance with policies, and risk management; oversee incidents.
• Participate in Branch Leadership Team and support strategic priorities.
• Develop volunteer/involunteer board opportunities and engagement.
