Job summary

YMCA of Metropolitan Los Angeles is seeking a Teen Coordinator to develop and lead skill-based teen programs, building positive relationships with youth and caregivers in an at-risk community area.

Responsibilities include curriculum delivery across media skills, cooking, gardening, arts, and college exploration, while coordinating with schools and community partners to support achievement and workforce readiness.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• College experience preferred.
• Experience working with high school students and leading skill-based classes.
• Ability to plan, lead, and participate in activities.

Responsibilities

• Develop curriculum for Teen program and lead skill-based classes.
• Promote youth development and build positive relationships with youth and caregivers.
• Collaborate with partners, schools, and community organizations.
• Recruit volunteers and manage teen program volunteers and parents.
