Wheeler is seeking a Crisis Clinician to deliver mobile crisis assessment, intervention, and stabilization services for children birth through age 17 as part of the MCIS program in the Hartford, CT area.

The role involves crisis response, safety planning, and coordination with emergency departments, inpatient units, and congregate care providers to prevent unnecessary admissions and ensure intensive community-based planning for high-need youth.

Qualifikationen

• Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Social Work, or Counseling or a Doctoral degree in Psychology.
• Licensure required: LMSW/LCSW/LMFTA/LMFT/LPCA/LPC or licensed/eligible Psychologist in CT.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate in community settings.

Aufgaben

• Conduct crisis assessment, intervention, and stabilization for children birth to 17.
• Provide mobile services in community settings and coordinate with EDs, inpatient units, and other providers.
• Develop crisis and safety plans, document plans, and monitor client progress.
• Coordinate with families, case managers, and EMPS teams to ensure continuity of care.
