Community Health Resources (CHR) in Middletown, CT seeks a Crisis Therapist to join Mobile Crisis Intervention Services. The role focuses on immediate crisis assessment, mobile interventions, and coordinating with schools, hospitals, DCF, law enforcement, and community providers.

This full-time position offers growth, supervision, and ongoing training. Qualifications include a Master’s degree, LMSW/LPC-A/LMFT-A, driver’s license, and experience with trauma or emotional disorders.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree or higher in related field.
• Experience working with trauma, mental illness and/or substance use disorders preferred.
• LMSW, LPC-A, LMFT-A required; LCSW, LMFT, LPC or Licensed Psychologist preferred; Driver’s License required

Responsibilities

• Provides assessment and treatment interventions consistent with the program model.
• Conducts clinical and risk assessments.
• Creates individualized, person-centered treatment plans.
• Maintains client and staff records per agency policy.
• Provides crisis assessment and intervention and follow-up linkage to services.
• Participates in weekly supervision, consultations, and meetings.
