Job summary

Covenant House New Jersey is seeking a Youth Engagement Specialist for the RLH Swing Shift to provide strength-based, trauma-informed support to youth. You will work within a multidisciplinary team to foster a safe, inclusive environment and help young people reach housing, health, wellness, education, and employment goals.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Experience with youth, homelessness, or trafficking preferred.
• NJ driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide case management to youth to build positive relationships.
• Conduct assessments and document in HMIS/ETO.
• Develop and update Success Plans with each youth.
• Coordinate referrals to CHNJ and community partners.
• Facilitate youth group activities and community engagement.
• Document daily progress and attend case review meetings.
