Reaching Up Homework Help is seeking an Academic Support Coordinator to oversee tutoring operations for the Youth Education Program. You will supervise tutors, coordinate with teachers, and support students individually and in small groups during after-school hours.

The role emphasizes maintaining a structured, welcoming learning environment and tracking student progress throughout the school year. The position is paid hourly and operates on ISD 196 school days with a 2:30 PM–6:30 PM schedule.

Qualifications

• Minimum 21 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Eligible to work in the U.S.
• Must pass a background check.
• Ability to lift 20 lbs, move classroom materials, and supervise active youth environments.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to follow a consistent weekly schedule.

Responsibilities

• Assign, instruct, and supervise tutors.
• Monitor volunteers working directly with students.
• Provide individual or small-group tutoring to reinforce learning concepts.
• Keep students on task and engaged in academic work.
• Maintain regular communication with teachers and school counselors.
• Support each student’s individual academic needs through shared information and coordinated strategies.
• Supervise and support students in both elementary and middle school programs as needed.
• Encourage positive behavior, participation, and teamwork.
• Lead or assist with team-building activities for students.
• Foster a safe, welcoming, and engaging learning environment.
• Adhere to and enforce the program Code of Conduct and behavioral policies.
• Instruct and monitor students in the proper use and care of facilities.
• Observe, track, and document students’ academic progress weekly.
• Record and maintain relevant data to assess student growth.
• Provide program support to the Director and other staff members.
• Attend and participate in staff meetings.
• Safely operate a 15-passenger van when assigned.
• Assist with student transitions between program components.
