Job summary

Alpha School is seeking a Youth Education Manager who will coach Guides, develop leaders, and create an environment where students consistently exceed expectations.

You will use data and coaching conversations to improve performance, launch new campuses, and maintain uncompromising standards while inspiring others. This is a full-time, on-site role with relocation support in select campuses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, Business, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• At least 5 years of experience in education, coaching, or related leadership roles.
• Experience leading teams of five or more people and making performance-based decisions.
• Demonstrated success using data to drive performance improvements.
• Experience working with children ages 5-14 in educational or coaching settings.

Responsibilities

• Coaching Guides to deliver exceptional student experiences while upholding high standards.
• Lead life skills workshops to develop communication, leadership, focus, and real-world skills for K-12 students.
• Motivate students to achieve ambitious learning goals in self-directed programs.
• Use data, observation, and coaching conversations to improve Guide performance and student outcomes.
• Help launch new Alpha campuses by building a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
