Job summary

Trinity Youth Services is hiring an Education Youth Care Worker in El Monte, CA. The role supports children in a residential shelter program, promoting safety, education, and development while assisting with homework, distance learning, and daily care.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED (Bachelor's preferred) and at least one year of related experience. A valid CA driver’s license is required; bilingual Spanish is a plus. Pay is $20.89 per hour with full benefits.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED; Bachelor's preferred.
• Must be able to assist youth with coursework up to 12th grade level.
• One year of experience in a youth-related facility or program is required.
• Must be able to communicate clearly in English, written and spoken.
• Must have a valid California driver’s license with clean DMV history.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe home environment for children.
• Promote growth and development and assist with meeting goals in the treatment plan.
• Assist with academic support and distance learning; monitor progress.
