The YMCA of Greater Houston is seeking an Afterschool Site Lead to head a licensed school-age program, ensuring children are safe, engaged, and well-supported daily. You will coordinate operations, implement the YMCA curriculum, and build strong relationships with families and partners.

As Texas Site Director for the program, you’ll ensure licensing compliance and oversee setup, breakdown, and maintenance of activity centers while ensuring a safe, nurturing environment for all children.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required with training hours.
• Minimum 70 clock hours of child/youth development or similar training.
• Two college courses equivalent to 100 clock hours accepted.

Responsabilidades

• Keep children safe with vigilant supervision and attendance tracking.
• Oversee daily operations of afterschool program and licensing compliance.
• Manage site safety records, incidents, and compliance documentation.
• Apply positive behavior management techniques to support a respectful environment.
• Ensure program policy compliance, health, and safety standards.
