Job summary

YMCA of Greater Houston seeks an Afterschool Site Lead to guide a licensed school-age program in Houston. You will ensure a safe, engaging daily routine, implement YMCA curriculum, and maintain partnerships with families and schools.

Join a mission-driven team focused on safety, community impact, and high-quality youth programming. This part-time role offers meaningful work with children and families in the Before/After School program.

Qualifications

• At least 21 years of age and high school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 70 clock hours of training in child or youth development or management; two college courses equal 100 clock hours.
• Experience working with youth in licensed childcare, school, church, or similar setting.

Responsibilities

• Lead licensed afterschool program ensuring safety and engagement for children.
• Coordinate daily operations, implement YMCA curriculum, ensure licensing compliance.
• Build relationships with families, school partners, and YMCA staff.
• Maintain enrollment and attendance records; support program growth and retention.
