Job summary

The City of Edinburg's Boys & Girls Club seeks a Unit Director (Legacy Center) to supervise volunteers and part-time staff, manage programs across five core areas, and support operations and outreach. You will collaborate with school partners, assist in budgeting, grant reporting, and staff development while ensuring safety and quality programming for youth.

Weekend and afternoon hours are required. Flexible hours, strong communication, project management, and a commitment to youth development

Qualifications

• Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Ability to read and follow written and oral directions.
• Must supervise/coordinate programs and staff.
• Strong writing and leadership skills; motivate others.
• Good public relations skills; understand youth needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist/coordinate programs daily in 5 core youth/teen areas (Tech, Teen Court).
• Help create climate for youth development and implement BGCA mission.
• Plan and coordinate programs aligned with BGCA Edinburg Rio Grande Valley.
• Serve as school liaison and lead community recruitment for new members.
• Develop and maintain partnerships with school administration.
