Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Atlanta is seeking a Teen Services Coordinator to plan, organize, promote, implement, and evaluate teen programs under supervision of the Program Director.

The role emphasizes preparing youth for success, promoting engagement, orienting new members, guiding behavior, and maintaining program safety and quality. Requires a high school diploma/GED, and experience with teens; a valid driver's license is needed. Evening hours and occasional weekends apply.

Qualifications

  • Education: High School diploma or GED is required.
  • Experience: combined experience and/or formal training with teens is required.
  • Skills: ability to motivate youth and manage behavior problems, and to work with the general public.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare youth for success and promote youth development outcomes.
  • Encourage daily teen program participation and events.
  • Orient new members to programs, safety rules, and expectations.
  • Provide guidance and model appropriate behavior and dress code.
  • Implement, monitor and evaluate programs and activities.
  • Maintain safety and quality in programs and track attendance.
  • Supervise, train volunteers and program assistants.
  • Participate in staff meetings and manage supplies within budget.
