Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Atlanta seeks a Training & Development Manager to support organization-wide training and youth development programs. The role coordinates training initiatives, manages logistics, and ensures high-quality staff experiences across Metro Atlanta clubs.

The ideal candidate orchestrates learning activities, develops resources, and partners with internal teams to drive staff development and organizational impact. Strong communication and planning skills are essential.

Qualifications

• At least two (2) years of direct youth development work.
• One to two (1-2) years of adult learning experience.
• Ability to develop and implement engaging, hands-on learning experiences.
• Ability to identify and communicate effective youth learning practices in an after-school environment and train Youth Development Professionals on those practices.
• Critical thinking.
• Project planning and organizational skills.
• The ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand.
• Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with teams across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Oversee training logistics, including scheduling, participant communications, materials preparation, and session setup, to support the delivery of organization-wide learning initiatives.
• Collaborate with the Director of Training and Development to create monthly and annual organizational training calendars.
• Deliver youth development and professional development training for Club staff.
• Manage online learning management systems and training resources to support training strategies.
• Coordinate training opportunities with external groups.
• Develop learning activities, audio-visual materials, instructor guides, and lesson plans as necessary.
• All other duties as assigned.
