Job summary

Alpha is seeking a Youth Development Manager to build and lead high-performing Guides, coaching teams, and upholding uncompromising standards across Alpha campuses in Boston, Raleigh, New York City, Orange County, and Santa Barbara. The role centers on coaching, life-skills workshops, and ensuring students excel in self-directed programs.

You will use data to drive performance, help open new campuses, and advance Alpha’s innovative K-12 model.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, Business or related field; Master's preferred.
• At least 5 years of experience in education, coaching, or leadership.
• Experience leading teams of five or more people.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Coach Guides to deliver exceptional student experiences while upholding high standards.
• Lead life skills workshops to develop communication and leadership in students.
• Motivate students to achieve ambitious learning goals in self-directed programs.
• Use data and coaching conversations to improve Guide performance and outcomes.
• Help launch new Alpha campuses and establish a culture of excellence.
