Job summary

The YMCA of Greater Houston is hiring a Youth Development Leader to support before/after-school and day camp programs, creating a safe, engaging space where children learn and grow. You will lead activities, promote inclusion, and model YMCA values while collaborating with families and staff.

Day-to-day duties include supervising groups, planning age-appropriate activities, ensuring safety, and building positive relationships.

Responsibilities

• Keep children safe, engaged, and accounted for at all times, monitoring activities and headcounts.

• Lead YMCA curriculum through games, projects, and hands-on learning.
• Model YMCA values: honesty, respect, responsibility, caring, faith.
• Support daily operations to maintain a clean, safe program space.
