Job summary

Alpha reimagines the K-12 experience by prioritizing coaching, mentorship, and real-world skills over traditional lectures. As a Youth Program Leader, you will build a team of Guides, coach and develop leaders, and create an environment where students consistently exceed expectations.

This is a full-time W2 role with benefits. You will be responsible for leading campus teams, driving performance through data-driven decisions, and launching new campuses while maintaining uncompromising standards.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in education, coaching, learning and development, or a related leadership role.
• Experience leading and developing teams of five or more people, including hiring and performance decisions.
• Demonstrated success using data to drive performance improvements.
• Experience working with children ages 5-14 in an educational, coaching, or developmental setting.
• Experience building or launching a new team, program, or campus, with willingness to open a campus from zero.
• Willingness to work in a school model that rejects traditional lecture-based pedagogy.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Coaching Guides to deliver exceptional student experiences while upholding Alpha's standards.
• Leading life skills workshops that develop communication, leadership, focus, and other real-world skills for K-12 students.
• Motivating students to achieve ambitious learning goals and progress in self-directed programs.
• Using data, observation, and coaching conversations to improve Guide performance and student outcomes.
• Help launch and establish new Alpha campuses by building a culture centered on excellence and continuous improvement.
