Job summary

Alpha is seeking a Youth Development Manager to coach Guides and students in NYC or Miami, using data and observations to drive outcomes. You will lead workshops, coach both children and adults, and develop playbooks to scale excellence across the team.

You will own a K-3 cohort, document best practices, and help shape Alpha's future Guides while maintaining high expectations and measurable results.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, Business, Organizational Leadership, or related field.
At least 5 years of experience with elementary-aged children.
Experience leading teams of five or more people.
Experience building or growing a program or initiative.
Proven ability to use data to improve performance.
Legally authorized to work in the United States.
Willing to work in person at Alpha campus in New York City or Miami.

Responsibilities

Coach Guides and students using performance data and observations to achieve measurable improvements.
Facilitate workshops on communication, resilience, collaboration, accountability, focus, and life skills.
Lead one-on-one and small-group coaching sessions connecting motivation to academic growth.
Build and refine repeatable coaching playbooks to raise team performance.
Train and mentor Guides while modeling exceptional coaching and facilitation.
