Job summary

Alpha seeks a Youth Development Manager to drive outcomes for K-3 students. You will coach guides, analyze performance data, and deliver workshops on communication, resilience, and life skills.

You will lead coaching sessions, develop playbooks, and mentor Guides to raise overall performance and student independence. You will work in person at Alpha campuses (New York City or Miami) with relocation support provided.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of experience with elementary-aged children (approx. ages 5–9).
• Compelling storytelling and facilitation skills that engage young children, plus the ability to coach adults with clear expectations.

Responsibilities

• Coach Guides and students using performance data, classroom observations, and direct feedback to achieve measurable improvements.
• Facilitate workshops for K-3 students focused on communication, resilience, collaboration, accountability, focus, and life skills.
• Lead one-on-one and small-group coaching sessions linking motivation to academic growth and independence.
• Build and refine repeatable coaching playbooks that raise performance across the Guide team.
• Train and mentor Guides while modeling exceptional coaching and facilitation daily.
