Job summary

Alpha is hiring for a Youth Development Manager to coach and elevate K-3 students through data-driven coaching and high-impact Guides. You will lead performance-driven workshops, run one-on-one and small-group sessions, and build scalable coaching playbooks that raise outcomes across the school.

In this full-time, in-person role, you’ll work in NYC or Miami with relocation support, mentoring Guides, and shaping Alpha’s coaching culture to deliver extraordinary academic and life outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, Business, Organizational Leadership, Child Development, or related field.
• At least 5 years of experience with elementary-aged children and leading teams.
• Experience building or growing a program with measurable outcomes.
• Data-driven approach with ability to coach adults and students.

Responsibilities

• Coach Guides and students using performance data and observations to achieve measurable improvements.
• Facilitate workshops for K-3 focused on communication, resilience, collaboration, and life skills.
• Lead coaching sessions and connect motivation to academic growth and independence.
• Build repeatable coaching playbooks and train Guides while modeling excellent coaching.
• Document what works and help shape future Guides and Alpha development.
