Ywca Central Massachusetts Inc. is seeking a Youth Development Advocate to support the Girls Choice program, focusing on prevention activities, education, and training for youth.

Emphasis on gender stereotypes, boundaries, socialization and character development. Responsibilities include recruiting youth, managing participant data, coordinating field trips, and co-facilitating engaging activities; leading Family Fun Fridays and weekend events as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; youth experience preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Experience with diverse populations encouraged.
• Strong communication and public speaking skills.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Recruit middle and high school girls for programs.
• Maintain engagement data (intake, surveys, ongoing data collection).
• Coordinate field trips and transportation for participants.
• Plan and co-facilitate activities addressing gender stereotypes and character development.
• Oversee Family Fun Fridays with activities for families on Friday nights.
• Support weekend events and tabling as needed.
