Qualifications

• Availability to work on weekdays 2:00 PM–9:30 PM during July and August.
• Completion of Youth Worker Training Institute within 1 year preferred.
• Ability to relate to people of diverse backgrounds.
• Commitment to quality customer service and strong organizational skills.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Assist in Girls Choice Program during the school year (Sept–June).
• Create and maintain engagement data per participant (intake, pre/post surveys, ongoing data collection).
• Engage with parents/guardians to support participant success.
• Liaise with Worcester Public Schools via counselors and related staff.
• Travel to program sites; mileage paid and resources provided.
• Plan and implement Youth Development programming and direct services.
• Oversee the Summer Youth Connect program during summer months.
• Assist and co-facilitate Girls Promoting Safety at Burncoat Middle School on Wednesdays 9:30–12:30.
• Maintain participant records using ETO and other methods.
• Recruit youth for Summer Youth Connect.
