Job summary

AMIkids in Georgetown, SC is seeking a Food Services Supervisor to oversee meal preparation, nutrition standards, and the Culinary Arts curriculum for youth. You will lead kitchen operations and ensure HACCP compliance while teaching food safety.

The role requires supervisory experience, ServSafe knowledge, and proficiency with MS Office. You will hire, train, and develop Team Members, manage inventories, and coordinate health inspections.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; ServSafe preferred with ability to obtain certification.
• Minimum of three years in food service; supervisory experience of two years minimum.
• Prior school environment experience preferred; basic MS Office skills required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise and manage kitchen operations with HACCP principles to ensure food quality.
• Instruct and supervise youth in the Culinary Arts curriculum, including hygiene and equipment maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with federal laws, policies, safety rules and health regulations.
• Oversee equipment operation, storage, and sanitation; manage inventories and ordering.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and development opportunities for team members.
