Job summary

AMIkids Acadiana is seeking a Food Services Supervisor to oversee meal preparation and service within the Culinary Arts program. You will supervise kitchen operations, ensure nutrition, HACCP compliance, and maintain safety standards while guiding youth through hands-on food preparation.

The role requires a High School diploma, ServSafe certification, and at least 2–3 years in food service with supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• ServSafe certification preferred; ability to obtain/maintain required.
• Minimum 3 years in food service, serving groups 25-50 people.

Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise and manage kitchen operations and services.
• Instruct and supervise youth in Culinary Arts curriculum and safety.
• Adhere to federal laws, school policies, nutrition and safety rules.
• Maintain sanitation and safety guidelines for equipment and facility.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and development for Team Members.
• Manage records, inventories, and coordination with health inspections.
