Job summary

Brightli in Springfield, MO is seeking a part-time Behavioral Health Technician I to provide direct oversight and supportive care to youth in our rapid access unit. You will monitor health indicators, respond to crises, and assist with daily activities, grooming, and transportation as needed.

The role emphasizes teamwork with the treatment staff, documentation of behaviors, and adherence to policies while delivering compassionate care to clients facing behavioral health challenges.

Qualifications

• Observant and empathetic with strong communication skills.
• Experience in human services or related field preferred.
• Must complete background checks and have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct oversight and support to clients ensuring safety during daily activities.
• Monitor health indicators and escalate medical intervention as needed.
• Facilitate group education and structured activities to promote recovery.
• Document behaviors and report concerns related to clients.
• Assist with personal care and transportation as needed.
