Job summary

YMCA of Greater Kansas City is seeking Y Club Site Supervisors to lead before- and after-school programs for elementary students. You will plan daily activities, create a welcoming space, and build positive relationships with students, families, and site associates.

You will ensure safety, manage site operations, and develop weekly activity plans and snack menus while maintaining financial records and communicating with families.

Qualifications

• Must meet Missouri state licensing requirements for Director Approval.
• Six months of school-age programming experience.
• Excellent leadership and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to manage finances and communicate with families.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of youth development associates at your site.
• Ensure the safety and wellbeing of each child by operating the program safely and purposefully.
• Manage site operations and compliance with YMCA and licensing standards.
• Prepare weekly/monthly activity plans and snack menus that meet educational standards.
• Maintain financial records and monitor fee collections and balance communications with families.
• Distribute a monthly site newsletter and calendar.
• Organize fundraising and actively recruit at least one parent volunteer.
