Job summary

Navy Region Southeast Fleet and Family Readiness (FFR) seeks a Full-Time CYP Assistant - Youth Center to engage and care for children and youth in the CYP. The role focuses on social development, healthy choices, and safe activity supervision within the DoD CY program on a military installation.

Responsibilities include planning age-appropriate activities, supervising participants during indoor/outdoor schedules and field trips, and coordinating with parents and staff to meet individual needs

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to promote and foster effective working relationships with children, youth, and coworkers.
• Ability to work cooperatively as a member of a team.

Responsibilities

• Develops schedules and activity plans, ensuring input from the CY program team.
• Implements activities and special events meeting the needs of children and youth.
• Supervises and ensures safety and supervision for program participants.
• Interacts with parents and employees and provides feedback on activities and progress.
• Ensures DoD CY program compliance and quality accreditation.
