Job summary

Navy Region Southeast Fleet and Family Readiness (FFR) seeks CYP Assistants to engage children and youth in safe, developmentally appropriate activities within a DoD CY program. The role emphasizes social skills development, healthy lifestyle choices, and readiness for school through structured and spontaneous activities.

Responsibilities include curriculum planning, indoor/outdoor environment management, supervision, parent communication, and program assessment to ensure safety and compliance

Qualifications

• Resumes must include KSAs as they relate to the position.
• Must provide copy of HS Diploma, GED, or College Transcripts when you apply.

Responsibilities

• Develops schedules and activity plans for curriculum.
• Maintains indoor and outdoor environments for daily activities.
• Interacts with children, youth, and adults using approved guidance techniques.
• Provides care and supervision in compliance with DoD and local policies.
• Communicates with parents and employees professionally.
• Observes development and documents progress or concerns.
• Assists in achieving DoD certification and accreditation.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
