Job summary

City of Indianapolis and Marion County FYI Center is seeking a dedicated case manager to assist the supervisor in overseeing residents, handling intakes, and facilitating safety and success planning. The role includes crisis response, trainings, and collaboration with law enforcement and community providers.

You will complete required certifications (CANS) within 3 months and participate in weekly supervision, while ensuring timely data entry and adherence to policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 1 year of work experience in a child caring institution.
• Willingness to become CANS certified within 3 months of employment.
• Complete Motivational Interviewing training within 3 months of hire.
• Must be willing to work nights, weekends and holidays as required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist supervisor with overseeing residents and conducting intakes.
• Conduct safety and success planning for residents.
• Respond to crises at the FYI Center.
• Attend stakeholder/leadership meetings and trainings.
• Complete incident reports and treatment plans.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and service providers.
• Conduct meetings with youth and families to ensure Safety and Success Planning.
