Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in human services (or relevant course study) with 1+ years of leadership or supervisory experience.
• An Associate’s degree in human services (or relevant course study) with 3+ years of human services experience and 1+ year in leadership.
• 5+ years of human services experience with 1+ year in leadership or supervisory capacity.
• Advanced knowledge of social work principles and practices, plus state/federal child protection laws.
• Ability to supervise staff, manage workflow, and ensure policy compliance.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize and supervise staff; ensure deadlines and child safety.
• Monitor quality of work; schedule on‑call rotation for case managers.
• Reassign work to balance caseloads and maintain service levels.
• Ensure staff follow Practice Model, regulations, and operating procedures.
• Recruit, onboard, and train staff; conduct performance appraisals.
• Interview applicants and make hiring recommendations; manage leave requests.
• Identify training needs and develop plans; oversee travel and overtime for efficiency.
