Covenant House Florida is seeking a Case management Coordinator in Fort Lauderdale, FL to lead and manage case management and youth services for ages 18-22 as they transition to independence.

The role emphasizes supervising a team, coordinating program activities, ensuring documentation quality, and maintaining trauma-informed best practices. This is an onsite, full-time position with opportunities to mentor staff and collaborate with community partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Behavior Analysis, or related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
• Two years of leadership or team-support experience, ideally within case management or a related field; two years with at-risk youth preferred.
• Relevant education, certifications, and/or work experience may be considered

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision and support to a team of Intensive case managers and advisors.
• Coordinate daily/weekly case management activities with the team.
• Ensure youth safety and de-escalation; maintain Nonviolent Crisis Intervention Training certification.
• Oversee grant-funded programs; ensure timely, compliant documentation in ETO and other systems.
• Address cleanliness concerns with residents and escalate maintenance as needed.
• Provide on-site leadership for Crisis Shelter management and on-call support.
• Assist in recruitment and onboarding of case managers and residential advisors.
• Mentor staff for diverse learners; conduct supervision and workshops.
• Foster inclusive and joyful work environment and culture.
• Collaborate with organizational leaders; build partnerships with community agencies.
• Drive agency vehicles to escort youth if needed.
