Job summary

WellLife Network in New York is seeking a dedicated Child Support Professional to help create a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment for youth in residence. You’ll provide supervision, skill-building, and family engagement, guiding residents toward independence while maintaining a trauma-informed approach.

You’ll work with a team under supervision, support daily living skills, manage household routines, and document progress and incidents accurately.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Associate’s degree preferred.
• Experience working with children with emotional or behavioral needs preferred.
• Valid New York State driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized care, supervision, and therapeutic support to youth in residence.
• Demonstrate positive behaviors and model the program’s core values.
• Teach daily living and social skills and maintain a therapeutic milieu.
• Assist with household routines and medication adherence under supervision.
• Complete documentation accurately and on time; report incidents promptly.
• Escort residents to appointments and activities, and engage families when appropriate.
• Attend staff meetings and participate in treatment planning and program development.
