VisionQuest is a national child, youth, and family services organization focused on residential programming, community-based services, and in-home support.

The Direct Care Worker role provides one-to-one or small group interventions for youth, promotes safe decision making, and supports crisis management as outlined in the youth’s treatment plan. It requires a 21+ age minimum and valid driver’s license.

Formación

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Cleared background checks from appropriate entities.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be eligible to drive to facilitate program services as required.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct intake and property inventory upon youth’s arrival, including paperwork and program overview.
• Provide basic needs to youth such as meals, clothing, hygiene products, and shelter assignments.
• Develop positive rapport with youth and serve as a role model in a safe environment.
• Assist with planning and coordinating special events, activities, and outings.
• Observe, document behavior patterns and required information for reports and logs.
• Ensure supervision of youth and maintain a clean, hazard-free facility.
