Job summary

VisionQuest (VQ) is seeking a Residential Direct Care Supervisor to oversee delivery of residential services for youth, ensure safety and proper care, and supervise Youth Care Workers. The role ensures documentation aligns with Texas licensing standards and coordinates with the treatment team.

The position requires a proactive approach to compliance, scheduling, and reporting, with opportunities for growth within a nationwide child, youth, and family services organization.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required, college degree preferred in Human Services.
• 1–2 years residential child-care experience required; 1–2 years supervisory experience preferred.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays; valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, supervise, and monitor Youth Care Workers across all shifts.
• Maintain appropriate staff-to-child ratios and ensure direct supervision and line-of-sight of children at all times.
• Provide coaching, performance evaluations, and address employee performance issues with documentation.
