The Assistant Direct Care Service Manager supports the Direct Care Service Manager by overseeing the Youth Care Worker department, managing evening/overnight/weekend shifts, and ensuring safe operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associates/bachelors preferred.
• Supervisory or leadership experience is preferred.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support to Lead Supervisor in managing the YCW department.
• Assist with shift oversight and ensure staff-to-youth ratios meet regulations.
• Be on-site presence to engage with youth and staff to maintain safety.
• Coordinate and implement recreational outings and events.
• Participate in recruitment, onboarding, and training of YCWs.
• Support training materials and staff development.
• Facilitate regular check-ins with Shift Supervisors on performance and schedules.
• Ensure safety, compliance, and licensing protocols are followed.
• Assist during emergencies, evacuations, or crises and document incidents.
