Job summary

Florida Sheriffs Youth Ranches is seeking an Office Manager to support the Camp Director and Camping Services in accounting, purchasing, and payroll functions. The role includes maintaining attendance records, ensuring proper procedures, and safeguarding program assets while providing secretarial support.

The successful candidate will manage vendor relations, petty cash, payroll-related tasks, and personnel files, reporting to the Camp Director.

Qualifications

• The candidate must have a High School diploma and 3–5 years of accounting or clerical experience with hands-on computer use.
• Experience coordinating purchases, maintaining petty cash, and processing payroll information is required.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to follow established procedures are essential.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate purchases: approve requests, issue purchase orders, verify invoices, and match documents.
• Maintain petty cash: reimbursements, deposits, and accounting support.
• Prepare payroll information and forward to HR for processing.
• Manage personnel files and background screening paperwork for new staff.
• Perform secretarial duties and serve as primary receptionist for Youth Ranches.
