Job summary

Florida Sheriffs Youth Ranches is seeking an Office Manager to support the Camp Director and the Director of Camping Services. You will ensure proper accounting methods, follow purchasing procedures, maintain attendance and leave records, and safeguard program assets while also providing secretarial support.

You will monitor budgets and assist with payroll, and you will process vouchers and vendor payments. Travel within the state may be required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma and 3–5 years of accounting or clerical experience with hands-on computer use.
• Ability to read and interpret documents, write routine reports, and communicate effectively.
• Must have valid Florida driver license and travel occasionally as needed.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate purchases: approve requests, issue POs, verify invoices, and file vouchers.
• Maintain petty cash and deposits; forward to Accountant and monitor expenditures.
• Submit vehicle service reports and monthly vehicle reporting to the Main Office.
• Check monthly vehicle logs and mileage reports for accuracy.
• Prepare payroll information and liaise with HR; manage attendance and leave records.
• Manage campus credit cards (Visa, store/gas cards) and reconcile statements.
• Collect and forward personnel documents for HR and background screening.
• Perform secretarial duties; receptionist duties and staff hospitality.
